Sensory Concert at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre

Have you ever wanted to attend a concert but were too worried about being judged by others or shushed? Sensory Concerts® are performed by acclaimed musicians in a relaxed setting, with small numbers and onsite therapist support. These inclusive concerts are specially designed for children and adults with sensory or special needs including autism, ADHD, Sensory processing disorder, physical and intellectual disabilities.

Launched in 2017, thanks to the Blue Mountains City of the Arts Grant, Sensory Concerts® pioneer equal access to high-quality music through performances that don’t require the audience to sit still and keep quiet. Six years on, Sensory Concerts® are growing in demand, performing throughout metropolitan and regional NSW, VIC and Adelaide.

The evidenced-based musical program is designed to suit everyone of all ages and abilities, from first-timers to regular concertgoers. Come experience the joy of music!

All children must be accompanied by an adult, child tickets can only be purchased in conjunction with an adult ticket.

Cost: $10 Adult, $5 Child (16 and under), $20 Family (4 members of a group with at least 1 adult)

First concert at 10.15-11am. A repeat concert, starting at 11:15am and finishing at 12pm will become available when the first concert sells out.
