How to use your sewing machine

Join Sherlie for a one-off session on how to use your sewing machine.
In this class, you will:
– Learn how to set up your machine
– Service your machine, i.e. oil, and adjust for correct tension
– Learn to troubleshoot when your machine isn’t sewing correctly
– Learn some basic sewing skills, to make life easier when sewing your projects.
After completing this class, you are welcome to come along to the Fashion Upcycling classes. Note – these classes are limited to 15 and mostly held the first Saturday of every month, as part of Skill Share Saturdays at the Planetary Health Centre.

– How to fit and alter garments
– More basic sewing skills and techniques
