Working Bee Event by Blue Mountains Organic Community Gardens
Every Friday @ 10 Victoria street, Katoomba
Duration: 3 hours, 30 minutes
Every week from about 9:30am to 1pm volunteers meet at the Blue Mountains Organic Community Gardens to look after this beautiful space for the community. Come along and get involved. There’s lots to learn and do. Everyone is welcome.
Jobs include things like:
– preparing garden beds
– planting seeds
– weeding and mulching
– maintaining pathways and lawns
– creating art and sculptures
– trimming trees
– picking fruit and veggies to take home
– cooking together
– events planning and fundraising

Every week is different and your ideas are welcome too.
Can’t make it on a Friday? There’s also working bees on the third Sunday of the month from 10am to 2pm. Maybe we’ll see you then?
